Tony has spent two days with us, teaching EFICOR staff from different projects how to regenerate the forest through pruning, protection and maintenance of trees. Farmers from the Malto and Santhai tribes in Sahibganj District of Jharkhand - where deforestation is having a devastating impact - also attended this training. We are hopeful that this practice will not only restore the earth but will restore relationships between these two communities as they work together to improve their wellbeing.
