Mrs. Hazel Siromoni

Hazel Siromoni has Clinical Psychology academic background. She has worked in Education sector for over 25 years specially in the Canadian Education space. She has headed for several years the Canadian Education Centre, India which was set up with the support of Government of Canada to promote Canada as an attractive education destination. Currently Managing Director of Maple Bear South Asia, a Canadian early childhood education and elementary program which was born out of this experience of Canadian Education Centre to showcase Canadian Education strengths. In February 2014, she received the Governor General of Canada Gold Medallion for the contribution towards promotion of Canadian Education in India and facilitating Canada India relations. She also has held the position of CEO of ICBC and currently serving as the Chair of Education Committee of the ICBC Northern Region Chapter as well as the President of YWCA of Delhi. She has also contributed towards publishing several articles and especially contributed a Chapter focusing on women in workplace and breaking glass ceilings in a book called Awaken the Magic.
