Mr. Febin Mathew Varghese

Febin Mathew Varghese is a Disputes lawyer with more than thirteen years of experience in litigation and arbitration. He is also an Advocate-on-Record with the Supreme Court of India.

Febin has dealt with legal issues in varied practice areas, enabling him to garner knowledge over a wide range of subject matters. He has represented and advised:

• Banks in recovery proceedings.
• Foreign mineral exploration company in relation to disputes under the Bilateral Investment Treaty Arbitration.
• Stock broking company in matters arising out of a Member-Client Agreement.
• Competition Regulator in matters relating to Anti-Trust and Competition matters.
• Individuals and companies in shareholder disputes.
• Religious, Educational and Charitable Trusts and Societies.
• Delhi Urban Art Commission and Heritage Conservation Committee in respect of matters relating to Urban & Town planning in Delhi.

Febin holds a degree in physical science from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Delhi. He was enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2011. He was previously a partner with Dua Associates.
