Dr. Priya L. John

Dr Priya L John is General Secretary of Christian Medical Association of India.

Dr. Priya John did her MBBS from Christian Medical College, Vellore and post-graduation in Community Medicine from St Johns Medical College in Bangalore. She also completed her Diplomate from The National Board in Social & Preventive Medicine. She has worked in a mission hospital as well as taught in a Medical College. She did a course in Palliative Medicine and worked in a Hospice in Delhi. She joined the Christian Medical Association of India in 2012 and gained wide range of experience in the NGO sector over the last 8+ years. In July 2019 , she has taken over as General Secretary of CMAI. She is married to a surgeon, Dr Suviraj John working in Sir Ganga Ram hospital and they have a son Arpith studying in class 12.
