Mr. Thangkholet Baite

Manager, Program Quality and Grants Management

Thangkholet Baite holds master's degrees in History, Social Work, and Missions. He joined EFICOR in 2002 after completing its Community Development Organiser Training (now called Social Worker Training). Over the past two decades, he has taken on a variety of roles across EFICOR’s projects, working in both rural and urban contexts—including the Melghat region in Maharashtra, Sahebganj in Jharkhand, and several slum communities in Delhi and the NCR.

In addition to field assignments, he has worked at EFICOR’s headquarters, supporting a project focused on improving the livelihoods of persons with disabilities, while also managing program quality and donor communications.

Mr. Baite brings a deep understanding of poverty in both urban and rural settings, which informs his ability to ensure high standards in project implementation and documentation. His wide-ranging experience is a valuable asset in shaping program quality across the organisation.

Currently, he serves as Manager – Program Quality and Grants Management, based at EFICOR’s Head Office in New Delhi. In this role, he provides strategic input on project proposals, reports, and documentation, while also assisting the Program Lead in managing relationships with donor partners.
