Mahi Titus is the Associate Director of Fundraising at Dream a Dream, where she leads with a deep commitment to shifting mindsets in the funding ecosystem through a values-driven, relational approach. Her work is rooted in the belief that education must move beyond academic achievement to focus on thriving as its true purpose. At Dream a Dream, Mahi drives the organization’s fundraising strategy, aligning it with the broader vision of enabling young people from vulnerable backgrounds to flourish. She nurtures major donor relationships, secures long-term institutional funding, and builds systems and processes that support strategic clarity and agile decision-making.
Her approach is centered on identifying key leverage points to unlock capital, while building credibility for the organization’s work both in India and globally. Mahi’s transition to the education sector was driven by her commitment to enabling systemic change and helping people reach their full potential.
Prior to joining Dream a Dream, Mahi worked in the financial sector, managing large-scale bank partnerships and leading critical transformation projects during the transition of a microfinance institution into a small finance bank. She holds a postgraduate degree in Development Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from St. Stephen’s College.
