Vijay Alexander holds a B.A. (Hons) and an M.A. in Economic History from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, and an M.Phil. from the Centre for Historical Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi.
He began his career with the State Bank of India and later worked with ANZ Grindlays Bank. He subsequently joined Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd., where he served in various leadership roles and was a Vice President at the time of his departure in 2016.
Since then, he has been actively involved in the non-profit sector, serving on the boards of several NGOs, including Oasis India, Nirmaan Society, and the Council of Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore.
Vijay resides in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He is married and has adult children and four grandchildren.
