
Green Thomas brings over two decades of rich experience in development and humanitarian work, with a strong foundation in economics and community development. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Madurai Kamaraj University and the University of Madras respectively, and completed EFICOR’s three-year Community Development Organiser (CDO) training in 1996.
Known for his versatile training and facilitation skills, Green has successfully designed and delivered training programs for a wide range of audiences—from grassroots communities to large organisations. He has trained over 1,500 trainers in areas such as community development, environmental sustainability, advocacy, gender, FMNR (Farmer-Managed Natural Regeneration), and peacebuilding.
His core strengths lie in project planning and management, coaching, team building, interpersonal communication, and motivational speaking. He is also skilled in developing training modules and organising impactful workshops that lead to meaningful change.
Green’s expertise spans rural development, social advocacy, sustainable agriculture, conflict resolution, and leadership development. He is passionate about empowering communities through knowledge and practical tools, and is committed to fostering long-term sustainability and transformation through his work.
