
Mr. Prashant Missal holds a Master’s degree in Sociology and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Economics. With over two decades of experience in the development sector, he has worked in the areas of livelihoods, food security, and maternal and child health.
He has worked closely with tribal communities in Gujarat and Jharkhand, including the Kukna, Bhil, Varli, Pahariya, and Santhal tribes. He has also worked closely with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Ministry of Women and Child Development to strengthen health and ICDS services in Jharkhand’s Sahibganj district.
Mr. Prashant led EFICOR’s first Maternal and Child Health project, which won the Project of the Year Award (2014)from the Project Management Institute. He contributes to strengthening internal systems, supporting continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of learning and meaningful impact within the organization. He is also the focal person for maintaining the Core Humanitarian Standard for the organisation.
