EFICOR and Azim Premji Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize their partnership for the implementation of the Sanjeevani Community Health and Well-being Project, commencing in February 2026. This MoU marks a shared commitment to strengthening primary healthcare systems and improving health outcomes among 40,000 people from the Pahariya and Santhal communities across 103 villages in Sunder Pahadi block (Godda district), Borio block (Sahibganj district), and Amrapada block (Pakur district) in Jharkhand.
The project will focus on reducing the burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), malaria, tuberculosis, maternal deaths, infant and neonatal mortality, and undernutrition among children.
