The COVID-19 infection is growing fast at an exponential rate across the world. As on 10th April 2020, confirmed cases stand at 16,00,427 with 95,699 deaths globally. The pandemic is also spreading rapidly in India with 6412 cases and 199 deaths. On 24th March 2020, the Government of India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordered a nationwide lockdown for 21 days, limiting movement of the entire 1.3 billion population of India as a preventive measure against the COVID-19 pandemic. This has a profound impact on every class of society but the most affected are the poor.
