India continues to face significant livelihood challenges, especially in Rural India, where more than half of the population is reliant on agricultural activities, with its own bottlenecks.
The crop sector has seen marginal growth from 2.4% per year between 2014–15 and 2019–20, and 2.8% per year between 2014–15 and 2022–23 . Low agricultural productivity, erratic weather patterns, limited market access, and income instability, is leading to widespread undernutrition and food insecurity among vulnerable communities.
EFICOR trains farmers on the scientific method of farming, land conservation, and rainwater harvesting, with the aim of sustainably increasing their crop yield. We do this through Capacity building, Skill development, Vocational training and Promotion of small businesses.
