On August 5, 2025, a catastrophic flash flood struck Dharali village in Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand. The floodwaters swept away homes, altered the course of the Bhagirathi River, and left 5 people dead and 66 missing. Hundreds of families are displaced, with roads blocked by landslides and villages cut off from basic services. The impact has been devastating, leaving survivors in urgent need of relief and support.
EFICOR teams are already on the ground in the affected areas of Dharali, Bagori, Harshil, and Jhala, preparing to support 500 of the most affected households. Our planned interventions include:
