



Evaluations and impact assessments of some of EFICOR projects are in progress.

EFICOR has a policy of having its projects evaluated regularly either end of the project or even midterm (if the project extends more than three years) in order to measure the results against the goals, objectives, outputs put forth in the project proposal. The evaluation offers strategic and operational direction to the future direction, sustainability and effectiveness of the programme.
Evaluations and impact assessments which are in progress are:
1. The evaluation by supporting partner TEAR UK’s three year Block grant which ends in March is in progress. The evaluation team consisting of an external consultant, officials from other NGOs and EFICOR staff have so far visited the projects under the Grant between 12th January and
The evaluation seeks to determine the impact of the project and whether the desired outcomes have been achieved. Based on the assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the programme EFICOR and TEAR UK would consider future plan of action.

2. The Mid term review of projects supported by Tear NZ - Sahyog Tribal Project, Parthwada, Amravati District, Maharashtra, Nuapada Integrated Development Project, Orissa and SEBA project, Chhatisgarh was completed in January 2010.
3. Impact assessment of Raj Mahal Food Security Programme (Sahibganj district) supported by the Canadian Food Grains Bank and World Relief Canada is currently under progress.
4. North Bihar Disaster Risk Reduction Project (Madhubani) - End of project evaluation is scheduled to commence mid-March.
