EFICOR is working as a facilitating agency to Churches, Mission agencies and NGOs to be involved in development work. In doing this it  supports and monitors community development programmes and HIV & AIDS Awareness and Care programmes. Every year, EFICOR supports 20 – 40 partner organisations in community development and HIV & AIDS programmes. It has 31 active members and more than 200 organisations who have been benefited by various programmes.

Awareness

EFICOR has been involved in sensitising  and building  capacities  of  communities to address the issue of HIV & AIDS. It conducts programmes (seminars, conferences and workshops for the Churches and mission agencies) and produces IEC (Information, Education and Communication) materials to provide and enhance awareness level of the Churches and wider communities in regional languages. It has also motivated  churches to observe AIDS Sunday in the churches to bring in awareness and to promote care to the People Living with HIV & AIDS (PLHAs).
